Communists are definitely not viewed with the same abhorrence as the Nazis.

The Communists are an order of magnitude more murderous than Nazis. Logically, Communists should be viewed as the more evil group. This is NOT the case.

So, obviously there's a mechanism in society that is actively softening Communists, while at the same time demonising Nazis.
