Some of us would prefer to pick our battles carefully instead of fighting the mask requirements everywhere.

I can see why you think this way. But know that these mask mandates are intended to be permanent. People do need to fight back. Just try walking in without one and see if they say anything first. You can put one on if you really have to when they ask but at least see if you can get away with it. You might be surprised.

Win the war, not the battle. Not wearing a mask might be a short-lived victory, but it makes the mask Karens angry. Instead, convince them the masks don't work with real-world data like the Dakotas graphs. Show them articles which prove it is more about control and compliance than effective protection, like the people who got kicked off a flight for wearing this mask.

Do both! I am all for showing them studies proving them wrong too. But people have to take the mask off. They will never "let" you go back to normal.

I don't see the victory in not wearing a mask. I see the victory in convincing the store the mask mandates are not helping. I see the victory in convincing others masks are useless at stopping COVID.

I show people the graphs of masks vs no masks. I also show articles which prove it is more about control and compliance than protection from the virus, like the people who got kicked off the plane for the Narwhal masks.

Convincing others this is BS is how we win in the long run. Refusing to wear a mask just makes people angry.

The more people don't wear masks the closer we are to no one wearing masks.

There will always be a divide between the sheeple and the informed. You have to convert the sheeple, or convert the shepherds. Simply not wearing a mask doesn't convert anyone.

I have already answered your question in my comments in this discussion. It isn't the people who don't want to wear a mask who need convincing to take it off. It is those who think masks work who need convincing.
