Walked into a cobblery shop the other day to get some boots fixed for my wife. Mid size City with a virulently liberal City Council. Shoppe is in a historic part of downtown which is dying. When I entered the Shop owner's wife tried pushing a mask on me. I told her I don't wear them. The shop owner was sitting at a nearby desk and wanted me to wear one also. I showed him the boots but he said they don't do repairs. Guess they just sell shoes. The woman mentioned wearing a mask again and i said, "What for? You're wearing one, so we're both safe" The male said "The Governor has mandated them". I said "He ain't my Governor. He's a crook." They both repeated that I should really wear one. I shrugged and since my business was done I started to leave and then looked at the guy and said, you really need to grow a pair. I was smiling as I left.
