I think the reality is that there are more than two sides. There are a lot of interpretations of what is good and 'right' and how a country should be run. Haley is an establishment neocon. They think that we need to be involved around the world in order to fight for our interests and values, and have influence against the bad guys. They think if we don't do that, we are opening ourselves for attack (this is all my interpretation by the way). They think that Trump is a loose canon who doesn't follow the standard neocon Republican script (that part is true) and diminishes their power (that is also true). So we are aligned on some interests, like fighting Marxism, but not on others, like allowing Democrats to control everything. She is not evil like Pelosi, but she is wrong, not very loyal, and we want to take power from them in our party. It's as simple as that.
