Never has the everyman been under such sustained fascistic control. The smart phone in every hand now a tracking device. Each email sent a reason to convict. Surveillance from morning till night. AI facial recognition able to track us anywhere on earth. Truly scary times for the young to be growing up in. I’m a 64yr old Brit and my father aged 19 dug our bodies from the ashes of the East End of London during the German Blitz. He would tell me repeatedly “You just don’t know how lucky you are to live freely boy” Of course, I never listened and now in life repeating itself fashion, I’m telling my own 17yr old son, about glorious days you could hop a plane without a near strip search. Move anywhere you wanted and live as you damn well chose. We are entering an age of totalitarianism neither I nor my father could ever have dreamt of and that Frens is why its way past time for a Great Awakening. I see a chance for us to return to the values of our elders.

Men of great integrity almost entirely absent in the 2021 hellscape of our western culture.
The Amish, for all the mocking they receive from modern Americans live by a code that has served them well. They live sustainable lives. Putting into life as much as they will withdraw. Now I’m no Luddite, with a hungry desire to smash the machines or travel by horse drawn buggy but equally when technology rules over us it’s high time to call a halt to its excesses. Both our Nations need to return to a more Logos driven lifestyle. We are stewards for those who follow us… a cycle of life endlessly repeating, as it should and as it always had until these days. Forget the cities. Get back to the land and all it promises.
I’m proud my son sees me as someone to call a biological man, a man and not stunning and brave larping as a female.
