We will pay attention to Trump but it's up to all of us to start taking actions now. For example we need to make sure old voter registrations for ourself, family are cancelled. Opt out of mail in voting to cut the number of ballots sent out.
That can be done in minutes sitting on your butt in front of your computer. Of course more will need to be done but that is just an immediate start.

Can't do anything about DC right now but can take control of things locally. If we all do it together, the culminative effect can be great.
I think this is probably right. And I suspect that there will be quite a bit of support for more conservative candidates when people see the mass of unemployment and homeless that only seems to be prevalent in progressive cities.
Patience is a virtue. It does not help not to have a plan.
We have to take control back of our representatives and it has to start at the State level, where we are closer to the representatives.
Washington is too far removed from the people--you see congress how congress behaves. They do not listen to their constituents. When they vote, it does not reflect what the people who voted for them want.
I actually did look online but my county I can only apply at a meeting in March, which seems odd.
