Look at the time and expense made for a trial into the fake charges against the President, yet no one in the Senate wanted to stop certification when they could have to investigate the election. Never let the cuck Republicans forget!

It would have taken a majority in both the House and Senate to halt the electoral vote count for an investigation. Trump didn't have a majority in either the House or the Senate. All the Democrats were voting for Biden along with some Republicans.

The Democrats have a majority in the Senate, so they can drag out the impeachment trial for as long as they want.
