My GF and I came to Gettysburg for Presidents Day weekend. Went through the museum today, it's new since 2008 and very well done. Viewed the Cyclorama painting. I just stared at it thinking. We were the last to leave. I quietly went through the museum then drove through the battlefields. Had several tearful moments today. Just thinking what these men fought for so valiantly. The battlefields just echo voices of the past. I'm a very patriotic person and you just fell the pain of the nation. When Trump went to Arlington without press I knew it was because he was a true patriot and American. These places are here to remember those men. They did not die in vain and this country will not fall to the evils of this world.
