I disagree with only one part: that no president has gone through anything like it. Abraham Lincoln faced a lengthy and destructive civil war because Democrats lost their minds when they didn’t win the election and thought they might be forced to stop owning human beings.

I am convinced, however, that the only reason they didn’t repeat that is because their base are all unarmed soyboys this time around and know they’d be slaughtered to a man in the first three months.
