Its pretty obvious 1 of 2 things will be happening: either we get a Trump-branded Republican party (hopefully with some substance) or he ditches them and rides a wave of populism as a centrist/center left candidate.

So under either scenario Nikki Haley looks like the tofu substitute version of a decent candidate.
