You don't win by attacking everywhere, all the time, prepared or not, either. 11/3 was our Pearl Harbor. 2/13 may well have been or Coral Sea. Our Midway and Guadalcanal are yet to come, I think. And yes, these are all metaphors from the Pacific Theater; the "laws of war" were respected (for the most part) in Europe but were completely ignored and even spitefully reversed in the PTO - just like our Dems today. The fight is not over. We have more people, arms, and moral commitment. We've been asleep but now we're awake. We just need a leader and an OPORD.
