The whole point of this shampeachment wasn't to remove him, because they were pretty sure that they wouldn't get 67 votes and they backed down on witnesses when Graham threatened to call Pelosi. The goal was to get all of the talking heads to tell the country that 43 Republicans didn't vote to remove the guy they claim led an insurrection and they all must be voted out.
This thing they are going to try and do with the 14th Amendment to try and disqualify him from in 2024 is unlikely to be successful.
