So let me get this right. It was a transparently political sham "trial" on clearly nonsense charges, where fake tweets and media reports were "evidence", and where just looking at the context of any of their videos of Trump proved they were knowingly lying... and 57/100 STILL voted to impeach?

Wtf is this? Does the constitution mean anything anymore? Can these people just do whatever the fuck they want now? And i'm guessing we still have "Find the Votes" impeachment and then 14th amendment trials to come.

The issue is that to the Demonrats the constitution is in the way of them imprisoning or shooting anyone who has wrong think and some if not most republicants agree. The republicants are just slightly smarter and realised a conviction would not only be overturned by SCOTUS if appealed it would cause an actual insurrection and they would be in the trouble they are fronting for in DC that currently is not an issue as we are still in the propaganda portion of Civil War II electric boogaloo.
