January 6th wasn't an insurrection. If it was, congressmen/senators would have been murdered and the group would have announced a new government. Neither happened. It was trespassing and obstruction of a Government proceeding.
The Dems also spent 4 years decrying the legitimacy of the 2016 Election. So if Trump gets charged under the 14th Amendment for decrying the 2020 election was illegitimate, the Dems need to be held to the same standard.
Ding, ding, ding, this! This is not a path they should go down there are multiple ways of overturning it from the courts to a constitutional convention (that President Trump could push for at any time - which party holds a majority of state delegations again?) They should return to pretending to care about "unity"
