Just got off the phone with my mom who was so upset at Trump's acquittal that she was screaming at me at the top of her lungs for trying to convince her that he is innocent. Anytime I tried to logically explain to her how the things she was led to believe are incorrect, it was met with seething anger that escalated the longer the conversation went on. it eventually ended with her hanging up on me and calling me one of them. it's genuinely breaking my heart what's happening to my family and just wanted to vent. Anyone else that feels like sharing their story is more than welcome to and I also welcome any advice on how to deal with the situation while keeping my family intact.
