Link - This could be huge. This, Pedes, is the beauty of free-market Capitalism

Let's hope no one tries to assassinate the guy.

Just remember, pedes. Trust, but verify.

KuzoKevin [S] 13 points ago +15 / -2

He's the CEO of Gab.

DudePlayingaDude 10 points ago +16 / -6

Don't give a fuck who he is or what he claims. I don't trust tech and if you do, you are insane. Trust. But verify. If it is clean and works as advertised, great. If it doesn't, don't say you weren't warned. By the way, do you know this CEO personally? Can or will you vouch for him and everyone working on this?

Can't believe you're getting downvoted for saying "trust, but verify."

Good advice pede

He’s not tech. Tech bullied him for years and he left Silicon Valley and has beat them at their own game. To say you don’t trust tech probably insults the moderators of Patriots.win

To say you don’t trust tech probably insults the moderators of Patriots.win

Why? They got burned by tech big time. It's only by the grace of God that we still have a forum after how hard big tech fucked us.

COLDWARPATRIOT55 1 point ago +1 / -0

Because he’s no more tech than they are.

Trump2024 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm not catching the part that is insulting to our mods.

War_Hamster 4 points ago +6 / -2

Yup, and he appears to be very based.

We once thought the same about the CEO of Parler.

KuzoKevin [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

Gab owns their own servers, which is why it's taken them so long to keep up with demand. Parler was shut down by Amazon, who provided Parler's infrastructure.

Here's a brief overview of Gab and its founder - https://marketrealist.com/p/is-gab-publicly-traded/

Thank you. I'm aware.

I'm just saying that I'll trust Gab's CEO as long as he remains trustworthy. He's off to a great start, but we've been fooled before.

I remain cautiously optimistic about Gab.

KuzoKevin [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

They've survived and prospered, and don't answer to Wall Street.... yet.

Gab would be a great opportunity for Trump to keep a Patriot platform viable with an infusion of cash.

Watch how quickly the Net-Neutrality advocates reverse course if Gab gets this off the ground.

If?

KuzoKevin [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes. If.

War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Gab has some functionality issues at this point, but it's headed in the right direction.

3
COLDWARPATRIOT55 3 points ago +3 / -0

Even Farcebook had its glitches in the beginning.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'd argue Book of Faces has more "glitches" now than in its infancy.

KuzoKevin [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

True, this. Control.

6
HanginChad 6 points ago +6 / -0

We need to go back to hand counted ballots but if we can't gab needs to build voting machines.

The paranoia v. optimism here on TDW is bothersome.

It almost feels like a bunch of Antifags trying to dampen our spirits.

Fuck off, pansy.

FullAutoAssaultMemes 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm all for building our own hardware, software, and infrastructure..... but not all from one person or one company.

thanks for sharing

You're welcome.

100 different companies, each with an equal share.

KuzoKevin [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is not a single company that builds everything Gab needs, and every manufacturer they rely on has competitors.

RussianLimbaugh 2 points ago +2 / -0

Let’s all remember how the “free market” NASDAQ worked last month, expect that level of push back (plus) on this, & make sure we don’t just hold the line, but ram this sucker into the end zone.

85Dacudo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gab played the long game. Parler looks like it’s done for. Tu Gab built something that doesn’t have to answer to Wall Street. And I respect the hell out of that.

I think if they main tain this momentum a lot of people on the right should be seriously considering looking their way.

2
COLDWARPATRIOT55 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gab owns itself. It’s servers, it’s going to have its own smart phone, it’s own tv streaming device and it’s own video conferencing ....all with no governmental tracking capability.
Andrew knows what tech does, what they do behind your back, and he’s beating them with their own tricks. He’s a very based Christian. He has all of our presidents tweets, just waiting in an account for him. He allows free speech, but will remove you if you violate the terms. And he should if you can’t obey the rules.

So, is this satellite or OTA? it's saying your monthly cable bill can end. That would imply you wouldn't have to pay for anything except for the one time payment for the box. Where is this miracle device pulling the signal from? Unless it's OTA or unscrambled satellite you'd have to pay for a source. It sounds like hype about not paying for a monthly bill. Pretty doubtful.
