At the least he could have had Trump's back until the states that petitioned for the recounts had done their job. What harm would ten days have done? It would have exposed the fraud and other states would be audited. Pence was in on the steal because why throw your career away when you could have had a feather in your cap that you were loyal to your president, the constitution and Americans. Instead you are reviled by 75+ million. It makes no sense unless he cut a deal.
