Anybody seen the HBO show Veep? In the show the sitting VP is there to break a tie in a deadlocked Contingent Election for his party's nominee (not him he got kicked off the ticket lol) and votes for the other party instead since he was offered a cushy position.

Mike Pence is like that guy.
