Over the last decade there's been a number of woke black Americans who've done that, and come back to write articles about their experiences. They almost always degenerate in a "Boohoo, I don't fit in anywhere!" type of sob story after realizing that after self-alienating themselves from fellow Americans and that the only thing they have in common with the Africans is skin color.
They love to talk about how amazing Africa is yet never wanna go there.
