i'm a firm believer that low $ campaigns can make huge inroads simply by wearing out the shoe leather, talking to future constituents (ie, neighbors), and following "old-fashioned" common sense and courtesy. if you tell someone you'll get back to them, you do. if you tell someone you'll fix a problem, you have someone in your office keep them apprised of the steps you're taking/results you're getting to resolve said problem. admit faults straight out so they can't be used against you. and nevereverfuckingEVER bow to a bully or cave to a mob.
