Help me out here, I'm torn. My local library was pretty much the center of 50% of the good times I had as a child. I lived in a shitty neighborhood but they were always there, and I spent hours in it reading or exploring. I've done well in life, and after bonuses were distributed at work this month I decided it was time to give back to this place. I was scrolling through their Instagram; I vet all places I donate to now, I've crossed several off my list the past 8 months for a preponderance of Leftist trash. This library though seems to run a lot of good programs. I found one post about a 'transgender' book and a zoom talk with the transgender author. Again, this is in thousands of posts. They didn't do anything for the election, nothing about Biden or Kamala or impeachment, or the Capitol Hill honey pot...but still I'm conflicted.
