70+ infection fatality rate should probably be 5.4% to get 94.6% survival rate

The data is correct. If 99.5 survival rate for 50-69, it means 0.5% die after being infected. So, 5 out of every 1000 infected die in that age group.

Worst case, assume everyone gets infected in that age group. It is 80 million people, resulting in 4 million deaths. So don’t discount a 99.5% survival rate. Most 50 to 60 year olds don’t expect to die due to flu. 4 million is a lot. Even if 25% infection rate it is 1M in that age group. That is a lot.

I think the fear porn by the media is BS. And mask wearing is Not effective. Therapeutics would work (HCQ) and others. This is the travesty and tragedy. Treatment increases survival rates.

Lower age groups are unaffected, al ost meaningless rates. Do the same math on ages up to 50. Not a big death toll. Live your life, go to school, etc. but by the same token, don’t ignore 50+ rate.

These numbers are wrong. Either the fatality rates or the survival rates are off by 2 decimal places. They should add to 100% but they don't.

What’s COVID? The media and Dems don’t seem to care anymore for some reason?
