This argument never works against any Leftist I've tried it on. They just say that the system is racist and imprisons blacks for false crimes and the statistics are therefore not reflective of how much crime they really do.
I get that response sometimes too, then I remind them that those are proven homicides. Can't really call a black man going to jail for a proven murder racist.
