They make things about race to stir anger and resentment which they use to divide the country and they use that division for power and money. America is founded on a morality and ideal not on ethnicity and race.
It was formed mainly by the British, Dutch and Scots. Germans didnt migrate on mass until after the founding of the country.
"Forced on us"... really ironic way to put when you consider the fact the majority of Africans were brought here against their will. And when we are talking about our expansion west we have to remember large swaths were bought from the French, and won in war from the Spanish and then the Mexicans. Can't exactly say those populations were forced on the country. To say nothing of native Americans.
If you want to argue the Italian and Irish immigrations changed the politics of the country for the worse then I can't disagree completely. The mobs they brought with them created a lasting criminal corruption element within our government. I think Biden is a perfect example of the harm those immigration brought. But we can't act like they only caused negative outcomes seeing as they were essential for the mass infrastructure building that took place which was essential for connecting this continent size country and allowing for a more solid union between the east and west. Also made the massive industrialization and prosperity possible.
The country wasn't created for whites in any official manner, nor is there anything to suggest the majority of the founders felt it was only meant to be a white country. The mention of a creator, unalienable rights, pursuit of happiness, and the fact rights were laid out specifically that only focused on the freedom all men had that the government wasn't allowed to infringe on all point to the fact that being American is a mindset and moral compass, at no point does it say your race or ethnicity determines if you belong here.
The same people who ran and fought to keep slavery are the same people who wanted segregation, and are the same people who artificially created the disastrous inner city issue we currently deal with under the guise of "helping" the Black community with the damage from slavery and segregation, and are the same people today saying it's white people's fault the Black community sees the issues they see. From the beginning of this country this group of people (started with British aristocracy but today we know them as Democrats) has used race for the sole purpose of gaining power and wealth. Their behavior is directly responsible for the seemingly unending suffering the American Black community deals with, for the civil war, for awful inner city environments, and for the current racial tensions and division we deal with today. When you say race is a problem your misplacing the blame. Race is used by shameless power hungry people to distract and to divide and conquer.
