There's a lot of overlap. A sociopath is typically more anti-social, while narcissists care very much what people think of them, and put most of their energy into spinning social webs to control people. Narcs can be very charismatic, especially if they want something from you. A person raised by a narc gets their ugliest side, but their neighbors and co-workers think they're wonderful people.
