As someone who’s lived their whole life in the U.K, this is nothing new. I’d estimate that about 85%+ of our country are anti-gun.

We’ve been slowly indoctrinated to see ALL guns as being a part of the problem whenever a shooting happens in the US for example.

Our citizens have been without guns for so long it’s just normal now.

I guess that's understandable given what happened to the crown's colonies back in the latter half of the 18th century.
