For all the atheists offended by this. I used to be an atheist and an antitheist. I encourage you to read the Bible. Even if you still think God is fake and the religion is nothing more than a way to control humans etc... If you truly understand the problems with modern day society, you'll understand that the Bible is literally an instruction manual for how to fix all the problem. The morality that the Bible ascribes leads to a better outcome for society if everyone in society agrees to try and improve themselves in order to try and meet the moral standards of the Bible. Don't believe all you want but you can't deny following Christianity leads to a better outcome than not.
Understand though that just calling yourself Christian isn't enough. There are atheists who are better quality humans than people who call themselves Christian because you can call yourself Christian and then act as immoral as you want. But when atheists are high quality people, it's often because they actually do in fact adhere to the morality inherent within Christianity. Remember, we're a Christian nation so much of our culture and therefore moral values are in fact grounded in Christianity so even if you never read the Bible or went to church, if you grew up in our society, the moral values you came to on your own are likely heavily influenced by Christianity. Some could even call some atheists effectively Christians given the moral values they've developed.
Our societies degradation can directly be linked to the anti-Christian morality that has been pushed. That is why Christianity is important in order to promote the productive values but you can promote those values without being Christian but it's a good idea to read the instruction manual from time to time so you don't deviate. Many atheists have an entirely wrong idea about Christianity. They grew up listening to mainstream news attack Christianity. Hearing hearsay about Christianity from others and observed immoral Christian in politics deceive others that many atheists just presume to know what Christianity is about. This would be akin to forming an opinion of Donald Trump based on what mainstream news and the left told you about him. You'd probably have TDS... But you know most of the stuff in the mainstream about Trump is fake well big shocker but most of the stuff people think they know about Christianity is fake. I encourage you to actually take a deep dive into Christianity yourself with an open mind and with a mind cognizant of the fact that a lot of anti-Christianity is history revision by the left and bias meant to attack the religion no different than most of the stuff on Trump. Do this research before you bash the religion or those promoting it's strength reinvigorating society again.
