How does the action on that weapon work? It looks like an AR lower that's been modified to a bolt action, but the magazines look like they're designed for a gas-powered weapon. Where can I find literature on this chonky beast?
I saw several AR style shotguns out there when a friend of mine was looking for one for himself. He wanted a classic pump action, but the AR type looked appealing.
I have to admit, my wallet is flush at the moment and that magazine-fed beauty is looking mighty pretty right about now. The question is, do I want to have a conversation with my lady about dropping half a grand on a shotgun right now? That one the jury is still out on.

Yep, it’s gas-operated.
It’s a TriStar KRX.

Boss. Thanks for the link, dude.

ARMSCOR has something similar in the form of a VR80 IIRC.
But the dual tube DP12 or KSG are nice too (both pump action).
You can also check out the SRM1216 or SRM1228 which uses proprietary loading tubes.
I thought this was. https://kalashnikov-usa.com/product/kusa-12ga-tactical-muzzle-brake/
Bought a vepr before they were hard to come by. I would take a tactical 12ga with a folding stock in any situation under 60yds over anything else.
Heard nothing but good things about the VEPRs. Configurable as all hell too, I’ve heard. Wish the KRX had as many options.
Probably at the source, Tristar.

It is a semiauto shotgun, no relation to an AR except in the loose silhouette. The handle you see is just the charging handle.
I just meant the silhouette, yeah. Gives me some warm fuzzies from nostalgia. Who manufactures, and what's the model number?
Someone else says it is a Tristar KRX.
There are a bunch of cheap semi-auto shotguns coming in these days. Often several different brands importing the same model.
