The flag is an idea of greatness. It represents everyone whether we’re united in spirit or not. If you want to kneel before God, BLM, whatever, go to church or a protest on your own time, but on the court you’re there to represent the school, the town and the fans, not just the team. It isn’t about you or your issues, because we sure as hell have all got our own, which is why you need to set them aside and come together in common respect for each other and this country. Making a divisive decision like kneeling during the anthem does nothing to further the goal of “unity” and only serves to drive people further apart, the exact opposite of what it’s intended to do.
