The big difference is seat belts ACTUALLY save lives. Data from the NTDB shows a 50% reduction in mortality.

I would agree you should have a choice... like the constitution allows.

This is FAR more that the fear virtue signaling masks actually do for anyone.

You’re right. They’ll use the scare tactics to make these masks mandatory forever as well and pretty soon those of us complaining about it will be treated like I am when I say it’s not the governments place to Legistlate seat belts, smoking in private businesses, motorcycle helmets etc.

They have no business in any of that.

I think I generally disagree about seatbelt legislation not being for the good of the consumer, but I could see a reasoned argument for why choosing not to use one doesn't need to be a crime. Ultimately I tend to think that humans choosing to legislate away natural selection is probably a mistake, but that might be too edgy to dive into.

You got it. Not the governments place to Mandate it and natural selection is a force for good in our country. When you don’t have it. You end up Jerry Nadler, Schiff, The Squad, etc etc

I only wear a seatbelt when a cop is close by and I dont wear a mask 99.9 percent of the time.

Nah, seatbelts actually work. Don't get me wrong, they you can't legally mandate people behave safely in a free country, but . . . they do work.
