I honestly don’t know if the LDS movement should be considered Christian.

I'm quite sure it shouldn't, but I like them anyway. Not Mitt, though, he sucks ass.

Mormonism teaches that God the Father is an exalted Man, that Jesus, angels, and human beings were all the literal spirit offspring of our “heavenly Father and Mother,” and that the ultimate goal of the Christian life is to become exalted to Godhood ourselves.

They most definitely are not.

Identity politics in the GOP is a thing now too? Christianity getting decimated in the US and you think internal discourse among Christians is the solution? Smart thinking.

They don't believe in the Apostles/Nicene Creed. Their faith is a moderated Islam adapted for North America. Islam isn't considered Christianity or Judaism even though it pulls from some of the same texts and beliefs.

I rest my case. Rome is burning and you’re still arguing a micro issue. DEMS have been MACRO value voters (don’t care about religion only the results) for last 20+ years ie; Clinton, Obama and Biden. Horrible people but got far left agenda mainstreamed while GOP voters we’re MICRO concerned about how Christian nice and polite their candidate were. So we elected/voted for Bush, Chaney, McCain and Ryan - all nice people but disasters on a macro policy level ie; endless wars, staggering debt and not checking the radical left. But hay they were true Christians. In my opinion this is why the left hates Trump so much. He engaged them publicly for 5 years on a macro level and beat the shit out of them at their own game. I’m not interested in micro pettiness anymore. I want results!

I'm not saying they're necessarily bad people, or that they can't be allies. I'm saying they aren't Christians.

Here let me help you.

BAD = Someone who believes strongly they're Christian being called a non-Christian by someone else who thinks they’re being Christian.

Nice one troll. We have communism knocking on the door and your answer is to go after the Mormons? You must've been one of those Alabama Southern Baptists who voted outright for Democrat Doug Jones...directly against President Trump's endorsement.
