Prophesies say when Israel is made a nation in one day, not one generation shall pass before the coming of Christ. A generation is 70 to 80 years. We are at 73 years since 1948 when Israel became a nation in one day. Prophesy fulfilled. Now we are waiting for Jesus Christ. 73 years plus 7 year tribulation is 80 years. Killing humans and/or animals for forgiveness of sins is an ancient death cult practice.
Jesus did not teach death and torture for forgiveness - he taught repentance and baptism in the Holy Spirit
Avoid the Old Testament and most of the New Testament as these have been mangled and abused. Best case scenario study the life and teachings of Jesus.
Ultimately, invite the Holy Spirit into your heart, repent of your wickedness, and live your life modeled after Jesus - this is the way to salvation.
