I wonder what Gene Sharp wrote about this? Basically take that Time magazine article stuff and you need to have a populist version of that whole scheme that was set up by elites. But that article isn’t telling the whole story of everything that was done, such as intentionally introducing vulnerabilities at the political level.

A multi-domain approach is needed for things like this. Just doing one thing won’t work. Need more research.
