Trust me, an RMR is worth it :D Need to get a bit of training with it, but it makes life easier :D

That's true, no argument there, iron sights first :-) Though once you do the switch, it does need a bit of adjustment training...
red plastic is entry level, get the tritium glow-in-the dark ironsights, they're fantastic in daytime too.
