To what gains? Obama's Presidency kept the U.S. Military low budget and out of order. Trump did the OPPOSITE. Trillions to the Millitary without question.

I don't believe it's safe from bad actors either, but it is at present an avenue that exists. Unless Torba is actively discouraging Trump from establishing a presence on his platform, and I can't see a reason for a man with balls that huge to do that, that'd be the logical move to make, at least as I see the situation.
