As a top priority, Americans need to fight for School Choice. The US Department of Education is a total failure. They have replaced education with indoctrination. No matter who we support, they must be willing to push for School Choice to create alternatives for parents and put some competition into the education business. We must close the US Department of Education and fight for School Choice. This is fundamental to saving America.

I agree completely but its a losing argument. We just need to hammer school choice, that's how you break up the teacher's union cabal and also make inroads with urban voters.
The reality is that w/o federal dollars most of your terrible schools wouldn't be anywhere close to financially solvent. We either push vouchers (school choice) or we push federal magnet schools (non co-ed, trade, military, entrepreneurial). I prefer vouchers or best yet a combination of both.
