You're absolutely right. I have several lady friends who have been with the same dude longer than several married couples we know. Never married and didn't want children. My partner and I were together a quarter century and never got married. Today marks the third anniversary of the last time she went into the hospital. God rest her soul.
People on here (not all) are seriously unhinged and posts like what the OP put out is why people are reluctant to become conservative.
Yeah fun fact, your story is an example you don’t need to be married to be together forever, and loyal to each other. A lot of people actually end up staying together successfully when they’re not married from what I noticed, and the best part is they don’t have to deal with a nasty divorce.
Thanks for this. You're absolutely correct about the obsession with getting married to make babies. It's ridiculous actually. Everyone is different and there's nothing wrong with you if you don't lockstep. Enjoy your life. Love when you want to pursue that or enjoy living your life as you see fitting in your life goals. If you can mesh living and loving on your terms you'll be much happier than "ZOMG I've got to squat out some babies". Good on ya for stating your case and not bowing to pressure.
