Another gun site is asking what Mike Pence should have done.
I'm looking for documentation and explanation on what he should have done.
Mostly they are saying he could not do anything.
I understand that he could, but arguing the point is not my thing.
I'd like to copy and paist some of your arguments, and links are fine as well.
Thanks for your help.
The case had been teed up nicely for Pence to simply kick this back to the states to sort out the fraud. He should have kicked back the states that had dueling electors (electors for both Biden and Trump). The state legislatures should then have sorted it out. They needed more time...they formally asked for more time. Pence's letter on January 6th falsely implied that he had been asked to simply certifty the Trump electors. According to Trump's attorney, John Eastman, that's not what Pence was asked to do. Pence turned out to be a huge traitor...not sure if he's stupid or corrupt or both.
