HOW ELSE DO YOU THINK HE WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY WITH ALL OF THOSE FAITHLESS REPUBLICANS WHO VOTED GUILTY. COUNT THE VOTES IF YOU WISH.

Mrsattorney 4 points ago +5 / -1

He was found not guilty because it would have taken two-thirds of the Senate to vote guilty. There were 7 Rinos who crossed the aisle. Have you been drinking, a lot?

-3
Leatherwood [S] -3 points ago +1 / -4

NOPE. FOR EXAMPLE ELIZABETH WARREN VOTED NOT GUILTY. GO CHECK HER VOTE IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT.

You’re horribly misinformed.

-6
Leatherwood [S] -6 points ago +1 / -7

PERHAPS YOU NEED REMEDIAL COUNTING ATTENTION. ONLY 43 OF THE NOT GUILTY VOTES CAME FROM GOP SENATORS. HOW THE HELL ELSE DO YOU THINK HE GOT TO 57 NOT GUILTY VOTES?

5
Dogpile1 5 points ago +5 / -0

As I said, you are horribly misinformed, or retarded. In any case, he got 57 votes to convict him. He got 43 votes to NOT convict him. The Senate needed 67 votes to convict.

They needed 2/3 majority to convict. Not a simple majority. They voted 57-43 in favour of conviction. All democrats voted in favor of conviction.

It was 57-43 in favour of conviction. 57 was not enough (2/3 of the votes required), meaning they had to acquit.

WRONG. JUST THE OPPOSITE, IN FACT.

JUST GO TO THE SENATE WEBSITE AND COUNT THE VOTES. THERE WERE 7 REPUBLICANS WHO VOTED GUILTY. THAT GAVE HIM 43 GOP NOT GUILTY VOTES. HE RECEIVED 57 NOT GUILTY VOTES TOTAL. 14 OF THOSE CAME FROM DEMOCRATS WHO CROSSED THE ISLE TO VOTE NOT GUILTY.

MOST PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO GO TO SENATE.GOV AND FIND THE ROLL CALL. I REALIZE THAT NOT ONLY ARE GLOWIES LAZY, THEY ARE ALSO INEPT.

1
RED-Arse-Bear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Checked a 2nd time .... STILL says Warren voted Guilty along with 56 other Senators.

So you're saying you are lazy and inept.

Way to state the obvious.

NullifyAndSecede 2 points ago +4 / -2

Cause that didn't happen. The majority vote was in favor of conviction but a 2/3 majority is required to actually convict.

You read the numbers wrong. 7 republicans deflected and the narrative from The Cathedral is that more republicans would have voted to convict if Bitch McConnell had held the trial while Trump was still in office.

-7
Leatherwood [S] -7 points ago +1 / -8

WRONG.

7 Republicans joined the 50 demo and voted to convict. That’s a total of 57 for conviction and 43 for no conviction. They needed 67 to Convict. You should have stayed in school.

NO PILE. JUST THE OPPOSITE. ELIZABETH WARREN IS ONE WHO CROSSED THE AISLE. GO CHECK HER VOTE.
