You go to celebrity/high profile people parties, and there's a hired photographer. Everybody takes pictures with everybody else because it's just what you do. You don't even know 9/10 of the people posing with you. I've got pictures just like this of me with dozens of politicians and high profile businesspeople. Maybe a half dozen of us actually know each other.
