The only one I agree with is the one that made it so you had to jump through hoops to get automatic weapons, the one they put into place after the disaster that was the roaring 20's and the mob's use of the Thompson submachinegun. Historically it's also the one piece of gun legislation that's worked, no legally owned fully automatic weapon has ever been used in a mass shooting since the moment the legislation first went on the books nearly 90 years ago.
The NFA and FFA were established after FDR was shot. The GCA followed Kennedy. The rest of them followed Reagan. The only thing the government cares about protecting is itself.
And in no case were any of the guns used ever banned. They just exploited public sentiment to attack "scary" weapons/people and slowly erode our liberties, forgetting that shall not be infringed means there aren't supposed to be any "compromises" at all.
