Almost everyone does this. So if you have them locked away in a case 50' from where you are they must not be for home defense then. Teach your kids to shoot, make sure they respect them and absolutely have no way of harming anyone or anything with them unless it's dire. Unfortunately our society is so rife with sin and degradation that the single parent household usually fucks up children so horribly they simply can't trust them with anything-DON'T OWN A FUCKING GUN THEN!!
