He could have gone down in history as one of the biggest patriots and defenders of Democracy and the Constitution. All he had to to is send it back to the state legislators, give them the opportunity to go over the irregularities and determine the outcome of their election. Instead he cowarded out, and not only that but he LIED about what the President had ask him to do: to determine the outcome of the election. That is not what the president asked him! The president asked him to send it back to the state legislators, where the constitutional power over the choosing of electors resides... The president asked him to champion the constitution, nothing more nothing less..
Alas, Pence is a man of Christ, what he did is between him and God. I only wish he had read the new testament a bit better, and remembered what a courageous badass Jesus the lord actually is and how he calls on everyone to follow in his footsteps, walk upright and FIGHT for what's good and right.
