We got our pillows, sheets, and pillowcases last week. So comfortable! Unfortunately, the pillow isn't the answer to the neck pain I've awakened with every morning for about the past six months. At least it's not making it worse.

Did you wash and dry it?

The instructions say to put it in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes before first use. I did that. Haven't washed it yet. The pillow is very comfy, but I was really hoping it would relieve my neck pain, as well. Not the pillow's fault at all--I guess it won't be that easy. The pain gradually subsides during the day, and I feel a lot of popping in my neck throughout the day, but by the time I wake up the next morning, it's back. Nothing that a few hundred milligrams of ibuprofen won't take care of, but I can't keep doing that to my kidneys. I've been trying various sleeping positions, but maybe I just need to find a chiropractor (I use doctors and modern medicine as little as possible, and only as a last resort).

I have a friend that swears by her chiropractor though I never use one. She says a good doctor will take X-rays before your first visit and if not then walk away.

I have two my pillows and the directions say to dry it with a wet towel. I find each wash helps too. Most people miss that step, so I like to ask.

Best of luck, fren.
