My soul has been stewing in this surreal insanity and what I keep coming back to is the realization that we're not really up against some evil cabal of leaders who are hacking and cheating the system...we're up against an idiocracy.
Those wicked leaders are merely selling a feel-good narrative to an idiocracy that would rather buy that narrative and feel good than face the reality of how much of a nightmare this is, since that would demand action and an upheaval of one's life and comforts.
This is democracy, when it's populated by lazy idiots. We The People are free to wield our democracy however we like, and this is how we are collectively choosing to behave.
And it's not like it's one half vs the other, like a potential civil war. Half (or more) of the 'right' is complying with the feel-good narrative. At best they are saying 'We'll get'm next time!', or like this video with the 'We need to demand electoral security!', when those are now built-in failures since we've crossed this line where the system is now hacked. (Especially when our demographics are changing so quickly. And even the majority of the right will say that it is 'racist' for pointing that out.)
So how do you fight to save and change a country that is free to not want you to? Imposing our patriotic values violates the freedom of the idiocracy. And how do you win them over, ideologically, when they've been indoctrinated from every angle for half a century now?
It's both. Those in power ARE vile and malicious, but they wear a pleasing mask and say pleasing things. The Dept of Education pushes lies and hatred for America and Western values to our kids, so they grow up twisted, demoralized and angry. They go into education, the media, community organization or law while conservative kids go into practical jobs like HVAC, car repair or other trades. The system they built gets stronger every generation, but people are pacified by cell phones, their jobs, their homes and their DEBT. Everyone has so much debt they can't risk losing their job. No one has savings anymore. It's all systems of control, designed by an evil cabal, to keep people stupid, complacent, and obedient even if they don't really like it.

Not to be a doomer, but you cant. You just accumulate your own power base and expand your sphere of influence as much as possible
