If Republicans would go scorched earth with pushing the policies they're constituents want they would become massively popular and when in a landslide. The only conclusions I can draw then as to why they don't is that they are weak spinalist cowards or that they are controlled opposition in a system designed to keep us all in check. I tuned to believe the latter especially given how opposed and terrified they all are at the idea of the Patriot party.
