Let me put it to you this way folks. I'm a native from near the Canadian boarder. I speak a few languages and I taught my particular native language for a couple years at university. I left because fuck the politics. As native languages are verb driven and lack nouns, the language is completely contextual. I was told to "create nouns so that the students could feel more comfortable". Fuck liberal academia and fuck liberal ideologies, we can't even teach reality because they are so afraid of a context that isn't based on feelings. I was replaced by a woman with less qualifications than her brother, who has the same degree as me. The department got rid of all but 1 male teacher after that.
After reading what I wrote, I had a realization that's kind of fucking with me. I've been pushed out of every white collar job I had because of politics. I've worked blue collar jobs just to pay the bills and I convinced myself I was okay with that because at least I have freedom of thought.
