People tend to incorrectly assume that globalists want us divided by race. It's in fact the opposite. They don't want people divided by race, they want to end the different races entirely.
It is far easier to control the masses when they have no sense of cultural, racial, or religious identity. At that point, the only thing people will latch onto is the media they consume, or whatever the powers-that-be tell them. Having firm racial identity and solidarity is VERY difficult to root out amongst the people. It's not something globalists can shape to their desires without a lot of resistance, so they have to root it out entirely.
It worked so well on whites due to higher IQ correlating with receptiveness to maladaptive ideologies and their altruistic tendencies. That combined with the fact an entire world war was fought that functionally neutered white identity.
That is why they push the idea of "The world will become mixed' so hard. It's to turn us all into a rootless, consumer slave class.

Good point. In Japan, commercials are nearly 100% Japanese, so it would make sense to balance marketing based on demographics.
