Immediately banning guns, trying to add more states, removing walls (except in DC)
The left don't waste a second when they have power. If Trump has been able to move even 20% fast as the left are, we could have been in a great place
If the right can ever take power back, I hope they will act with the same sense of urgency
We also learned:
Thanks for not calling them RINOs and pretending that the majority of Republican politicians are the mythical “constitutional conservative” when in reality the vast majority of “Republicans” like their big government spending graft and corruption just as much (if not more) than the Democrats do
Trump was the real RINO, and that's a good thing
I get occasional hate on here for saying things like that, so it’s probably smart to add that “and that’s a good thing” on the end even though it’s obvious.
It doesn’t matter if we create a new party or reform the current one, we all need to be from Missouri, because the current group of Republican grifters will keep infiltrating no matter what the name of the party is.
Every citizen of this country has anywhere from 0-3 federal politicians whose feet they need to hold to the fire and 0-3 politicians they need to help get defeated if foot warming is no use. As far as we should be concerned, the rest of the losers in DC are outside our wheelhouse. If everyone did this, we could take our country back.
Congress has single digit approval ratings yet most of the members have been there for decades? Why is that?
My theory is that there is a “my guy is one of the good ones” mentality that lets people place the blame on everyone else. Yeah? Maybe your senators and congressman put out ads before primaries talking about how maga they are, but what have they actually done?
Have they voted against a single omnibus? Have they voted against the wishes of the Republican swamp leadership when it mattered most? Have they gone against McConnell/McCarthy (or Ryan in 17-18) even if it meant costing them their cushy committee seats?
If “your guy” really was one of the good ones, he would have gotten himself kicked off all his committee assignments and he would have an open schedule to scream through a bullhorn 7 days a week about how corrupt all the other politicians are. We need to stop listening to what they say and start watching what they do.
