That why they wanted a militia for each state, consisting of every able-bodied man (like how the Swiss do). Universal military training at the state level, to be called up under Federal authority during times of national crisis. They wanted armies under Federal authority to be totally disbanded between each conflict. Obviously there would have to be some skeleton crew for the maintenance of equipment, like we had before ww1, but otherwise totally disbanded.
They are, because the U.S.A isnt supposed to have a standing army. The 2nd amendment is designed so that we can easily form an army during war and dissolve it during peacetime.
I wouldn't be so quick to bash the military. Our military is overwhelmingly comprised of jarheads, southern boys, and regular guys that hate this shit as much as any of us do. In fact many of them browse this very same site. We simply do not know all the details behind what is going on but remember that this is a very small, very aggressive minority thats pushing this social justice dogshit in all our faces. The soldiers will never turn their weapons on patriots, and patriots should never turn their weapons on our soldiers.

I think it's obvious that we've been thrown to the dogs and left to fend for ourselves against an unelected authoritarian regime that is intent upon punishing us for daring to think we're free citizens with constitutional rights, including the right to challenge obviously fraudulent elections. It's just my opinion that our military would absolutely turn their weapons on us, many of them gleefully, but I know with 100% certainty that they did nothing when the Presidency was stolen by enemies of the USA, both foreign and domestic. They are now nothing but a loaded gun eagerly pointed at the head of any patriot that would dare to do what would be necessary to restore this country.
